Optimizing Ops

Led a seamless transition from Airtable to JIRA, automating team workflows and syncing updates via Slack. This shift brought structure to chaos and freed up valuable time, ensuring no task fell through the cracks while scaling team collaboration.

✨ Streamlining Workflows with JIRA + Slack

Turning messy project management into a streamlined symphony

Project Overview

Our team was tracking projects in Airtable, but the system couldn’t keep up with our growing workload. Manual updates and lack of visibility led to confusion and delays. I led the full transition to JIRA with integrated automations and Slack updates to streamline everything.

Goals & Challenges

We needed better visibility, automation, and a structure that would scale with our team and project load.

My Role

I planned and executed the move to JIRA, creating custom workflows, dashboards, and automated updates. I also trained the team and created process documentation.

Tools Used

  • Airtable to plan and track content creation efforts
  • Google Sheets to aid in the bulk transfer of project data from Airtable to JIRA
  • JIRA to build scalable, automated workflows and project-tracking for better visibility
  • Slack to push JIRA updates to team channels for real-time visibility

Results & Impact

  • Cut manual project tracking by ~40%
  • Accelerated project delivery timelines by 2 weeks
  • Increased transparency for leadership and cross-functional partners

Value for Your Team ✨

I bring order to chaos—designing workflows that are initiative, scalable, and easy to adopt and sustain.
